Over more than sixteen years, Simon has trained hundreds of professionals across Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, AI-powered creative workflows, branding, video production, animation, UX/UI design and digital publishing. His experience combines commercial creative practice with higher education, enabling organisations to develop practical skills that improve productivity, creativity and confidence long after the course has finished.
Rather than simply teaching software, Simon teaches the creative thinking, production workflows and professional techniques used every day by designers, marketers, filmmakers, content creators and in-house creative teams.
Alongside running Pixel & Vector, Simon delivers professional creative software training for organisations across the UK, helping businesses, universities, public sector organisations and creative teams become more productive, more creative and more confident using industry-standard tools and workflows.
Simon previously lectured at both the University of the Arts London (UAL) and the University for the Creative Arts (UCA), teaching at the Epsom and Farnham campuses across BA (Hons) and MA degree programmes. His subjects included graphic design, branding, advertising, film production, animation and digital media, giving him extensive experience teaching everyone from undergraduate students to postgraduate creatives preparing for careers in the creative industries.
Today, Simon combines more than 16 years of commercial creative industry experience with professional education, delivering practical, project-based learning that bridges the gap between theory and real-world application. Whether teaching complete beginners or experienced creative professionals, his focus is always on giving learners skills they can apply immediately in their workplace, studio or business.
