
Simon King is an Adobe Certified Trainer, Creative Director, and the founder of Pixel & Vector, a specialist Creative Software Training company based in Glasgow, UK. For more than 16 years, Simon has helped businesses, universities, public sector organisations, creative agencies and freelancers develop practical digital skills through industry-focused training in Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, video production, branding, web design, animation, AI-powered creative workflows and digital design.
His training combines commercial experience with education, allowing learners to understand not only how to use creative software, but why professional designers, marketers, filmmakers and creative teams use specific techniques and workflows.
Alongside running Pixel & Vector, Simon delivers professional creative software training for organisations across the UK, helping businesses, universities, public sector organisations and creative teams become more productive, more creative and more confident using industry-standard tools and workflows.
Simon previously lectured at both the University of the Arts London (UAL) and the University for the Creative Arts (UCA), teaching at the Epsom and Farnham campuses across BA (Hons) and MA degree programmes. His subjects included graphic design, branding, advertising, film production, animation and digital media, giving him extensive experience teaching everyone from undergraduate students to postgraduate creatives preparing for careers in the creative industries.
Today, Simon combines more than 16 years of commercial creative industry experience with professional education, delivering practical, project-based learning that bridges the gap between theory and real-world application.
