I've just finished two days Photoshop training with Simon and have certainly walked away feeling more confident handling the software and more inspired to create much-improved graphics and designs. Simon was an excellent trainer on the recent Adobe AfterEffects training course I attended. There was a range of different abilities in the class - some complete beginners and others with some knowledge. Simon managed to go at a speed that suited everyone ensuring no-one was left behind. His teaching style was relaxed and he made sure the classes were fun and entertaining as well as educational. Simon gave me exclusive one to one training for a fast-track course InDesign. The training was run online, where we were able to interact face to face and screen share throughout the process. This was extremely convenient as meant zero travel time and I was able to learn directly from my office. Simon was very knowledgeable in the software and full Adobe suite, he not only gave training but also insight into the use of features and tools for various industry activities (he has a background as a graphic and web designer). Shortcuts, tips and workarounds were advised and he went out of his way to make sure I was well equipped with what I needed to know and more! Will recommend and use again, thanks Simon.

Attended the 'Two Day Introduction Training Course to InDesign' taught by Simon. The course was excellent, Simon was knowledgeable, patient and delivered the course at a pace that worked for everyone. The tasks were exciting which added to the enjoyment of the training. It has been a pleasure being a trainee under the instructions and guidance of Simon. Highly skilled on every Adobe software (I personally did the Adobe After Effects induction) with a contagious teaching approach and instruction methods. I can personally vouch that he is fully aware of all the proper specs and procedures of the training he provides. Simon is a fantastic teacher with an insane amount of knowledge in After Effects & literally every other adobe software. He has a natural talent with teaching and training and his sessions move at a great pace and leave little to no questions with his thorough instruction and assistance. I've spent 4 days in total of training with Simon. His knowledge of all software is second to none and I really benefitted from his expertise. He made everyone feel so relaxed where we felt we could ask anything. I took the advanced Adobe After Effects course and ACA exam with Simon and he was a fantastic teacher. I particulalry enjoyed the fact I was working with a fellow creative and conversations centered around my course also veered into other design-related topics, which only bolstered my training. It's a rarity to take an Adobe course in Scotland with someone so attuned to design and enjoys to share their creative inspirations from a variety of different media. Very cool.

I have just completed a three day Advanced Illustrator course with Simon, and would happily recommend his training services. Despite having a good working knowledge of Illustrator prior to the training, I am now working much more efficiently, taking advantage of tools and shortcuts introduced by Simon I'd previously overlooked. I enjoyed the relaxed environment and informal style of training and learned much more than I expected in such a short space of time. Simon was a great instructor over a two-day advanced After Effects course. He has a huge knowledge of the subject matter and plenty of other useful tips relating to industry and general design. The course was set out in a way that allowed us to undertake several small projects encouraging us to learn and develop skills within different areas of the software. Simon gave us the opportunity to ask questions relating to how we use the software in our own work and was able to give us examples of how to achieve desired effects. I can see myself using a lot of the course material and his tutoring has inspired me and given me more confidence to use After effects more in my own design work.
Taking part in one of Simon's courses was a fantastic experience. His knowledge, enthusiasm & understanding made him a delight to work with. He went through the course at a pace that suited all & was more than patient with any questions we may have had. I've left the course with the knowledge & confidence to utilise these skills going forward.

Given that the After Effects software training was all done through Zoom, it went remarkably well. Simon was a lovely guy, super approachable, and never made anyone feel silly for the questions asked. Even on the first day when I didn't have access to a mic, he still gave time to read my questions in the chat which was much appreciated. His passion for what he does also showed, it encouraged me to work harder which was nice. It showed he cared about it.
I've recently taken an after effects course with Simon and can't rate him highly enough! his passion for after effects comes through in his teaching, he is knowledgeable, and obviously enjoys teaching as well. The course was at the right pace to take all the information on, and whilst it covered all the basics well, Simon integrated specific examples into the course that would work for each of us as we went back to the different areas we work in, which was great! all in all, Simon did a great job in teaching me something i was pretty much brand new to, and when i left the course i felt confident and supported in applying what i'd learnt to the real world work I'll now be undertaking using after effects.

The sessions were relaxed but informative, working through a few 'projects' while learning where everything was and how to do different techniques. Being able to ask questions and troubleshoot with a real person was much better for me than trying to learn from online videos. Friendly chat and a sense of humour made the sessions enjoyable too.
Simon was a great teacher. He made us feel relaxed and went at a steady pace so we could follow with ease. I have come away with more knowledge about After Effects to apply to my working the future.
Simon is an amazing tutor, throughout the course I improved my Adobe Premiere Pro skills, he was very professional but also very approachable. Simon is an excellent AE trainer: patient, approachable, thorough and fun to work with. Highly recommended if you are looking to loose the fear of dabbling in After Effects and deepen your knowledge on Creative Cloud workflows. As a video producer and experienced Premiere Pro user, I appreciated Simon's ability to draw parallels between the two programs to explain key concepts. The course with XChange Training was easy to follow and steadily increasing in complexity, but always manageable. At the end of the week-long course I went from beginner to Adobe Certified Professional. Very grateful to all!
